The Industry Ins tute Partnership Cell (IIPC) and Finance Club of Da a Meghe Ins tute of Management Studies (DMIMS) organized “Union Budget Simula on 2026 – Where Policy Meets Strategy” on 4 February 2026 at the DMIMS Auditorium. The event aimed to provide students with prac cal exposure to Union Budget formula on, fiscal policy decisions, and their impact on industries and financial markets.

A total of 24 students ac vely par cipated in the live parliamentary-style budget simula on, while more than 140 students and faculty members a ended the session. Par cipants represented different ministries and opposi on members, discussing sectoral alloca ons, taxa on strategies, f iscal challenges, and economic growth priori es in a realis c policy-making environment.

The event successfully connected classroom finance concepts with real-world governance and market dynamics. Through interac ve discussions and analy cal debates, students enhanced their understanding of economic decision-making, policy interpreta on, and strategic thinking, reinforcing the importance of experien al learning in management educa on
