Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies (DMIMS), Nagpur organized a 5-day National Level Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Technical Analysis in Financial Markets: Strategies and Applications” from 03rd to 07th March 2025, conducted daily from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM on the Lore & Ed Learning Platform. The program was organized under the leadership of Dr. Vaishali Rahate, Director, DMIMS, and coordinated by Mr. Pratik Kodmalwar, FDP Coordinator. The FDP was designed for faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals to strengthen practical understanding of technical analysis in financial markets.

The FDP featured expert sessions by Ms. Kavita Agrawal (CMT, CFA) on chart patterns and applied trading frameworks, Mr. Pratik Kodmalwar on technical indicators and signal generation, Mr. Maurya Hanspal (JP Morgan Chase) on price action and volume analysis, and Mr. Mohit Agarwal (Wells Fargo) on risk management and capital preservation strategies. Each session integrated theoretical foundations with real-market illustrations, live chart analysis, and case-based discussions.

The program concluded with hands-on demonstrations, backtesting of trading strategies, and real-time market analysis, enabling participants to effectively translate theory into practice. The FDP received positive feedback for its industry relevance and practical orientation, and all participants were awarded e-certificates upon successful completion, reaffirming DMIMS’s commitment to faculty capacity building and industry-aligned academic initiatives.
